September 22-26, 2014 A New Week

Our focus this week will be the season of fall.  We will go on a fall leaf hunt and after we sort our leaves, we will create leaf pictures.  We will take part in the Terry Fox Walk on Wednesday morning.  Orange, blue and pink are the colour words we will focus on.  We will concentrate on the number words and numbers to 9 (nine) also this week. We will go to the elementary computer lab and start our keyboarding practice typing the alphabet letters in order.  We will continue to work on our fine motor printing skills and will use our mini-whiteboards.  It will be another busy week!  (Hmmm, what will Miss Johnson make out of that huge empty box in our classroom?
