September Spirit Day Assembly

 

We celebrated September's Spirit Day Assembly with cooperative games, reciting out school cheer, and wearing our school colours.  We ended the assembly with a group picture.

 

Arrrrr! All Hands on Deck!

We are excitedly building a pirate ship for our classroom.  Everyone is lending a helping hand.  Today we painted the box our teacher cut into a ship and used paper rolls for the frame of the mast.  We just need sails, a crows' nest, a flag, cushions, and then, let the adventures begin!

 

We "Be-Leaf" It's Fall!

After our fall hike collecting leaves, we used our collection for math, science and art activities.

 

Terry Fox Walk

On September 24th, we joined our school and community on the annual Terry Fox Walk.  Even Scully joined in.

Where Our Food Comes From

If you ask us where our food comes from, you will hear a chorus of ..."from the farm".  To help our learning about how we get the food we eat from the farm to our table, we took a tour of our local Co-op store.   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

J is for Juggle!

On letter-sound Jj day, we practiced juggling.  We use tissues so no one was hurt with flying objects!
